Two people killed in Louisiana mobile home hit by possible tornado

The Storm Prediction Center has a moderate risk (a category 4 on a scale of 1 to 5-with five being the most significant category) for eastern Texas and western Louisiana.

Today's forecast for the Crossroads area includes another strong risk of thunderstorms and possible tornadoes.

- A line of storms sweeping across North Carolina on Friday morning brought thunder and lightning to many towns from Fayetteville to Roxboro, but it also came with the chance of more severe weather.

Severe thunderstorms will continue tracking east Sunday night into parts of the Deep South and along the northern Gulf Coast, including Louisiana, southern Arkansas and Mississippi. There is a possibility of storms moving across the same areas creating pockets of higher totals through Monday.
