Roseanne Barr: 'Of course I want to do a reboot' of Roseanne

Roseanne Barr John Goodman and Sara Gilbert are onboard for the eight-episode project which is currently being shopped to networks

The show is being shopped around to various networks (including reboot magnet Netflix), though the assumption seems to be that it will end up back at ABC, where the original show aired. Roseanne, which ran on ABC from October 1988 to May 1997, is making a comeback, our sister publication Deadline is reporting.

It was the most watched show in the U.S. between 1989 and 1990 with the finale drawing an audience of 16 million viewers.

Roseanne Barr is expected to be in the "Roseanne" revival.

When asked, Goodman expressed excitement about a potential Roseanne reboot.

Roseanne is heading toward Revival Town and we're ecstatic!

It will be the latest classic series to return from the dead as of late, joining "Full House", "Prison Break", "Gilmore Girls", "The X-Files", "Arrested Development" and the upcoming "Will & Grace".

The family sitcom, which centered on the working class Conner family in IL, ran on ABC from 1988-1997 and won 4 Emmys throughout its run.

The statement revealed that the parents had applied for visas to the High Commission of Pakistan in Delhi. First, he submitted a petition by Jadhav's mother addressed to the Pakistan government.

As of now, the show is still looking for a home.

Considering that the season finale of Roseanne revealed that Goodman's Dan had passed away, his inclusion in the revival is curious.

Goodman previously hinted at the possibility of a reunion, with Goodman insisting he would love one "if we could get everyone together".

A Roseanne show revival is in the works.

However, Barr addressed just that in a 2009 blog post in which she discussed where she believed the various characters would be now.

Alicia Goranson, who originally took the role of Roseanne's eldest daughter, quit during the show's fifth season to attend college. Becky would work at Walmart, Darlene would meet a woman and have a test-tube baby, Dan would show up alive after faking his death, and Roseanne and Jackie would open a medical marijuana dispensary.
