Bagels has invented a caffeinated bagel called the Espresso Buzz.

The supposedly first-ever caffeinated bagel was released on Friday in the USA, and it already has the Internet buzzing.

The caffeine is incorporated into the mix with espresso and a coffee-cherry flour, boasts 13 grams of protein from the cocoa in the batter and 6.5mg of iron.

Right now, the "Boosted Bagels" are available for a limited-time; however, if guests love them and they perform well, the brand could consider adding them to the permanent lineup, a spokesperson for the company told TODAY Food.

But it'll be under the social investment category, rather than health. The month of May is used to help people understand how common it is.

Fans submitting messages receive a coupon for a free Boosted Bagel and shmear with purchase and will be entered for a chance to win one free bagel with shmear from Einstein Bros.

It's been reported the bagel has 32 milligrams of caffeine, which is essentially a third of what you'll drink from an 8 ounce cup 'o joe.

Why? Because caffeinated bagels finally exist, and they're about to take breakfast to an entirely new level full of doughy, delicious coffee-bagel bliss. "Bagels", Kerry Coyne, Einstein Bros. 'But I'm not sure if that came from the caffeine content of half a bagel, or just from the sheer joy of having bagels in front of my face'.

It's a full "sensory experience". Sorry, but I don't want bacon and eggs in my coffee. Bagels and try one for yourself.
