THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and a few, scattered rain showers will be possible, with a cool high temperature of 65 degrees. Right now, Saturday will be the drier day out of the three with a shower or thunderstorm possible Sunday and Monday.

Steady light rain Monday morning has tapered back to showery periods for afternoon and evening.

Tonight lows will fall into the mid to low 40s as the rain ends.

Cooler marine air is expected to make its way inland Tuesday, lowering temperatures into the 70s in the Olympia area.

Clouds are expected to return on Friday, with showers and storms during the Memorial Day weekend. Limited sunshine should allow temperatures to rise into the 70s.

A wind-swept rain moves in for Thursday as the next weather system moves into New England from the Ohio River Valley. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may also impact parts of the Rockies and the Midwest as upper-level energy pivots through.

The cold front will move off the coast early Thursday morning.

Sunday's forecast is partly sunny with a high near 76, the weather service said. Northeast wind around 7 miles per hour. Northwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 20 miles per hour.

As we approach sunset, rain coverage begins to ramp up, lingering into at least midday Tuesday, before tapering down. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
