Vanity Fair's 'The Last Jedi' photoshoot is full of fascinating new details

"Because I think of her in the present tense".

The gallery mostly consists of (very cool) photos of characters we already know and love, like Leia, Luke, Finn, and Rey.

Following the cover reveals yesterday, Vanity Fair has posted its entire spread of cast photographs from The Last Jedi, taken by the legendary Annie Leibovitz.

Fisher's death didn't change anything on The Last Jedi, but it turned out to have a massive effect on Episode IX.

Mark Hamill, who plays one of the most iconic characters in film history, says he "fundamentally disagreed" with the way The Last Jedi writer/director Rian Johnson envisioned Luke Skywalker in the new film.

Fisher became a household name after playing Princess Leia in the original Star Wars franchise, which began in 1977.

'Irritating': UK scolds USA officials who leaked name of Manchester attacker
One of the forces that supports the GNA posted a picture on its Facebook page of Hashem Abedi after detaining him. In the aftermath of the attack, Ramadan has argued his son was innocent and that his family is a peaceful one.

Boyega, whose casting in The Force Awakens drew ire from racists and online trolls, recalled how in the wake of the reactions to the first trailer, Fisher gave him some very special advice: "You just do you". It seems like it would get easier since we're getting closer to the release, but seeing all of this content only makes us even more excited.

Among other details revealed in the piece is the fact that Rose and Finn travel to a casino city called Canto Bight, a "Monte Carlo-type environment, a little James Bond-is, a little To Catch a Thief". While speaking to Vanity Fair, Lucasfilm president Katherine Kennedy talks about Fisher's last day on the set of The Last Jedi.

After a successful re-launch with J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in 2015, fans also flocked to the first standalone "anthology" movie, 2016's "Star Wars: Rogue One".

I remember-and forgive me, I'm going to drop the f-bomb, but that's just Carrie-she said, "Ah, boohoo, who f******' cares?" However, many other sequences were shot at Pinewood, meaning Fisher and Hamill spent a lot of time together.

It'll be bittersweet to see Fisher in her final Star Wars film when "The Last Jedi" opens December 15.
