Secret Service says it doesn't have any Trump tapes

Any tapes should be turned over "not only to the Senate Intelligence Committee but [also] to the Special Counsel" tasked with investigating all matters involving Trump and Russian Federation.

Trump has been coy about whether any recordings exist of his private conversations with Comey, who was sacked by the president in May. It took place a few hours after Comey's testimony ended, and could have been part of the full day planned by Trump aides to keep him off of Twitter while the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director testified.

The Secret Service "handled recording systems within the White House for past presidents", according to the Journal.

The Secret Service said Monday that it has no audio or transcripts of any recordings made within President Trump's White House, but did not categorically say that recordings of conversations between Trump and fired FBI Director James Comey do not exist.

Trump generated curiosity about recordings last month on Twitter.

In answering the Wall Street Journal the Secret Service said, 'In response to your request, the Secret Service has conducted a reasonable search for responsive records, ' the agency wrote.

The leaders of the Senate Intelligence committee said in a statement issued Wednesday that they "look forward to future engagements" with Robert Mueller.

Since his ominous tweet, Trump has repeatedly refused to confirm or deny whether those tapes exist. I'll tell you about it over a very short period of time.

CVS wants to delay Marsh sale amid new buyer agreement
Objections to the winning bids will be heard in the DE bankruptcy court system prior to a final sale approval hearing on Thursday. One possible obstacle to the sale is an objection by CVS Health, which purchased the pharmacy accounts from Marsh in April.

But some, have questioned whether Trump is just bluffing about the tapes.

'The president made clear in the Rose Garden last week that he would have an announcement shortly, ' the press secretary said.

Several other journalist have reported similar interactions with Trump.

The move to investigate the US President comes after Mr Trump fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey on May 9, according to the The Post.

He also said he hoped that Trump had taped their conversation and would, in turn, release them publicly. 'Oh, you're going to be disappointed when you hear the answer, don't worry'.

"I'm pretty sure Comey wasn't lying here", the aide said.

The news came the same week as Trump friend Chris Ruddy floated the possibility that Trump would fire Mueller, who was appointed to head up the investigation after Trump fired Comey.
