Unhirable in America? Former Baylor coach Art Briles will join June Jones' staff in the CFL

Two weeks ago, Briles' attorney said that Briles was planning to coach in 2018.

Briles' name has been brought up numerous times for coaching vacancies ever since he was sacked by Baylor.

Briles, 61, was sacked by Baylor in May 2016 in the wake of a sexual assault scandal that rocked the university.

The former Baylor coach is now the assistant head coach for offense for the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Briles' official title will be "Assistant Head Coach Offence" under new head coach June Jones.

'Excellent' GCSE results at Hope Valley College
A stunning 67 per cent of all grades achieved were at A*, with an equally striking 92 per cent of all grades at A* or A. Maths improved and achieved the second best results in the history of the school with 75 per cent at C and above.

The Tiger-Cats started the season 0-8, leading to head coach Kent Austin resigning. However, in May 2016, an independent investigation found that the football coaches and administration initiated their own improper investigations surrounding sexual assaults.

This will be Briles first coaching job of any variety since he was terminated from Baylor last May. Briles and Jones will be responsible for improving the CFL's worst offense.

After being fired Briles sued the school, but later dropped the suit. "Under Briles' tutelage, Griffin III also became the first Heisman Trophy victor in Baylor's school history in 2011".

As members of the community of Hamilton, we've thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of working with and supporting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and the rich history the team has with the City of Hamilton.
