Starbucks’ 2017 Holiday Cups Are Finally Here & They Carry A Beautiful Message About Giving Back Tanya Ghahremani Bustle

This year, Starbucks has unveiled its first color-in holiday cup.

Starbucks' Executive Creative Director Leanne Fremar said the cup is "intentionally created to encourage our customers to add their own color and illustrations". "Taking a cue from customers who had been using their cups as a canvas, a year ago Starbucks red cups featured 13 different designs created by customers", the company statement reads. Also, the sleeves are all emblazoned with #GiveGood, the pay-it-forward style campaign the coffee chain is launching during the most wonderful time of the year. Save for some swirling red and green ribbons ("an ode to cups of years past", said the company in their press release), the new seasonal cups have been left mostly blank for YOU to customize, so get ready to bust out your colored pencils. The coffee giant is hoping the cup design will encourage customers to color and personalize the cups on their own. This is the 20th year Starbucks has served the festive cups.

That faint sound you hear is the joyful exclamation of Starbucks-lovers everywhere who can't believe it's finally red-cup season!

Colin Kaepernick Lands Million-Dollar Book Deal
He did not attend a meeting on October 17, despite receiving an invitation from Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins . Kaepernick's campaign began previous year , but reached a fever pitch when President Trump weighed in recently on Twitter.

In 2017, for the first time in memory, the cups aren't red.

The iconic seasonal cups that we've been obsessing over since 1997 officially return on November 1, along with holiday favorites like the Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Peppermint Mocha. The cups include splashes of red and green.

"Giving Good can be as small as someone opening the door for you or recognizing the people that enrich your life - your child's teacher, a caregiver, a family friend", said Fremar in the statement.
