US Is Running Out Of ISIS Terrorists To Bomb

Coalition airstrikes have declined by more than 50% as USA -backed forces in Iraq and Syria have largely destroyed the Islamic State's self-proclaimed caliphate and surviving militants have been killed or fled. First appearing as a major threat in Iraq and Syria in 2014, the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, are being driven out of the cities they previously occupied.

The Syrian army, alongside its Lebanese military ally Hezbollah and other Shia militias, and backed by Iran and Russian Federation, have seized swathes of central and eastern Syria in an advance against Islamic State this year. Hezbollah is fighting alongside government forces.

Croft cautioned that US operations against the terrorist group will continue for some time as ISIS morphs into an insurgent like force that is likely to try to exploit desert areas in Iraq and Syria. Sana news agency said Syrian and Iraqi forces had met on the border and the town had been surrounded. It is located near al-Qaim, and as Iraqi forces continue to recapture their cities, many predict that it will not take long before ISIS loses their ground on Rawa.

"Our movements are carried out under orders from the commander in chief of the armed forces and our key objective is to liberate Iraq's territories from Daesh".
