Google Pixel 2 Finally Putting Screen Issue To Rest

While the owners of the Google Pixel 2 XL are certainly not happy, the theory doing rounds is that LG and Google hasn't put much emphasis on the battery of the device as they preferred durability over the performance of the same and claims it to be a not so serious issue of the device.

This particular problem has caused discoloration and even a blue tint on the Pixel 2's display and consumers are not happy for it. Previously, the company released a batch of "pure" Pixel 2 XL without Android.

Just to be clear, the oleophobic coating is expected to last years before showing the kind of problems that the affected Pixel 2 XL owners have experienced. The good news is that a faulty microphone should be covered by Google's return policy, so be sure to get in touch with Google about an RMA ASAP if you're experiencing anything abnormal when it comes to the mic on your Pixel 2.

It's just been a month and users around the world are reporting a number of serious issues they are facing with the Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL. With Google promoting the camera, these kind of issues are really disappointing to see, and a brand like Google has done it wrong this time with the Pixel 2 series.

Nasrallah: Saudi Arabia forced Lebanese PM to resign
Manama has declared Hezbollah a terrorist group and repeatedly accused it of involvement in violent attacks in the kingdom. But Nasrallah on Sunday called for "calm, patience and waiting until the reasons become clear" for Hariri stepping aside.

Multiple users responded to the comment noting that the fix worked for them as well. The latest one that has surfaced is related to the bigger Pixel 2 XL model. This issue doesn't happen all the time in a particular unit but if your phone is one of the "unlucky ones", then you don't know when the screen will next flash on the Pixel 2 XL.

Some users even have reported a odd screen flashing which happens when you lock or unlock the phone.

The Pixel User Community forums post, which was first published back in October 21, has now gained some attention with other users reporting to be experiencing the same issue. I was able to replicate the issue by blowing into the bottom speaker. Yes.

Interestingly, users have added that blowing into the front speaker when the microphone is working causes it to fail again.
