School Shooting Reported In Aztec, New Mexico

Bloomfield cops said Thursday they were aware of an active shooter situation at Aztec High School.

The families of the victims have been notified and none of the dead have yet been identified, the Farmington Daily Times reported.

Two students were killed in the shooting and the shooter is dead as well, according to KRQE News.

Officials were working on clearing the buildings before the shooter was reported down, according to San Juan County CEO Kim Carpenter.

State and federal authorities are investigating.

"While details are still coming in, we grieve for the innocent victims in this senseless act of violence".
