White House faces questions about Trump's health after slurred words

US President Donald Trump will have his medical tests in 2018 after which doctors would release his health records, the White House said on Friday while dismissing as "ridiculous" the questions about his slurred speech.

Questions about Trump's oral health cropped up after people pointed out that the president appeared to be struggling to deliver his final words during Wednesday's speech.

Former President George W. Bush released his first medical records as president on August 4, 2001 and former President Obama released his records for the first time on February 28, 2010.

The White House later stated the slurring was due to a dry throat. But as Rachel noted on last night's show, there are some lingering questions not only about what he said, but also about how he said it. "That's something that the United States is very much committed", said White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Trump's predecessors typically underwent annual physical examinations with a military doctor and had details of their examination results released to the public.

Natural disaster of 5.0 magnitude strikes Uttarakhand, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR
An natural disaster of 5.5 magnitude on the Richter Scale jolted Delhi- National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday. According to the News Agency ANI , the center of the natural disaster was in the depth of 30 kilometers.

Trump has frequently touted his health throughout his campaign and presidency, and producing a letter signed by his personal physician of 35 years to prove his point.

He told the 250 guests: "I know for a fact there are a lot of happy people in this room".

"It seems like something is wrong with Donald Trump's mouth", host Corden said before going on to play clips of the speech.

It's hardly outrageous to think some will have questions about Trump's health given the circumstances.
