It was an absolutely incredible win for the Indian colts courtesy some great bowling by left-arm spinner Anukul Roy who picked up 5 wickets in the match. India, confident after battering Australia in their tournament opener, thoroughly dominated PNG, leaving no room for the opponents to create any impact. The left-arm spinner sent one between Semo Kamea's bat and pad to pick up his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs.

Roy was the wrecker-in-chief with figures of 5-14 while Shivam Magi bagged couple of wickets conceding 16 runs.In reply, India hunted down the low total easily as opener and skipper Shaw blasted his second half-century of the tournament. Chasing the target, Shaw and Manjot Kalra (9) hardly broke a sweat with the skipper toying with the opposition bowlers.

In reply, Shaw came out to blast his second half-century of the tournament, slapping and pulling the length balls to the square boundaries on either side. PNG openers survived the first 2 overs, but Mavi's second over got India their first breakthrough, getting rid of Igo Mahuru for 4. Ovia Sam (15) was the highest run-getter while only three batsmen managed a double-digit score. Such was Shaw's dominance that he scored 48 runs of his unbeaten 57 in boundaries - 12 fours in total. While Mavi bagged two wickets, Nagarkoti, who has impressed all with his pace, grabbed the wicket of Leke Morea.

Prithvi Shaw, on his own, delivered the victory by making 57 and not out, and his partner, Manjot Kalra was able to make nine runs.

Chasing just 65 to win, India knocked off the required runs easily as Prithvi Shaw ended with an unbeaten 57 from just 39 balls.

Zaid Alam and Hassan Khan managed 43 and 27 not out respectively as Pakistan secured victory in just 8.5 overs.

Roy was adjudged the Man of the Match for his stupendous spell.
