The back and forth between the provincial governments in BC and Alberta, respectively, continues.

The wine ban is the second trade retaliation that Notley has announced.

"I think that asserting their federal jurisdiction in whatever manner they determine is most effective and most appropriate is something I'll be looking for, so that we get past the words of support, to the actions of support that we're all chasing hard".

"I would think you'll have a boost in the B.C. wine".

As Notley has made clear, Horgan's insistence on further review of bitumen exports is not just an affront to Alberta, but to Canada as a whole. "I take that very seriously and I will be resolute in protecting the interests of this great province".

"We are now in court with respect to the Kinder Morgan process and until we get a resolution from the federal court, that is an open question".

"From the Inbox: 'As a resident of British Columbia, I would like to apologize for the behavior of our government".

Alberta Premier Rachel Notley announced the ban on Tuesday as the next step in an ongoing dispute with B.C. over the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion. "Lana Popham, the minister of agriculture, is reaching out to growers across the Okanagan".

The boycott over B.C. wines is being felt in the Gas City.

Bangladesh battle to save Chittagong Test match
With Sri Lanka cruising, Bangladesh tried to do everything in their power to break the mammoth partnership the pair had amassed. The 25-year-old admitted that his side allowed Sri Lanka to score 100 runs too many even though the track was good for batting.

"And I don't know where we're going to go, but one thing for sure, we'll fight".

"I hope that we would see the end of the back-and-forth", he told a news conference in Victoria. "I would like to thank her for standing up for Alberta". "If Alberta disagrees they can make that argument in the proper venue, in our court system". "We're going to focus on the issues that matters to British Columbians and hope that cooler heads on the other side of the Rockies prevail".

Notley said she is prepared to risk being hit by fines under the New West Partnership trade agreement.

The two other Western provinces expressed concern about the trade dispute between neighbours.

"The implications of such a threat strike directly at the heart of our country's oil and natural gas producers, and producing provinces, energy customers in the Lower Mainland, Canada, USA and overseas, and the men and women who earn a living supporting the energy industry in this country", wrote Kinder Morgan Canada CEO Ian Anderson.

"Hopefully we get past it and we'll get talking about the men and women we want to put to work on this project". Last week, she suspended talks to buy electricity from British Columbia.

But he says he expects the federal government to help solve the spat between the provinces. "Think of our province, and maybe choose some terrific Alberta craft beer instead". "This should not be about pitting BC businesses against Alberta businesses". Pressed as to what the prime minister might do next, the source cited Trudeau as saying last week that the dispute was still in the early stages.

Tory Leader Andrew Scheer says Trudeau should end his U.S. trip early and come back to Canada to deal with this.
