Indian Mujahideen Man Became A Teacher In Nepal And Got Married After Escaping Batla House: Cops

Khan was one of the militants who escaped from Delhi's Batla House, where an encounter on 19 September, 2008, killed two Indian Mujahideen terrorists.

The Special Cell sleuths had arrested one wanted IM terrorist Abdul Subhan alias Tauqeer last month. "This is a big success", declared Pramod Singh Kushwah, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Special Cell, who oversaw the operation that led to Khan's arrest.

Another member of the Indian Mujahideen, Shahzad Ahmed, was caught in 2013 and sentenced to life in prison for his actions at the Batla House encounter.

Subsequently, two IM terrorists were killed and as many arrested.

Delhi Police announced Rs 5 lakh as a reward for the information leading to Khan's arrest.

But they warned that similar protests in the future would be treated as acts of violence under new criteria. Mabel Au, director of Amnesty International Hong Kong , said the court had corrected an injustice.

After the Batla House incident, he stayed in India for some time before fleeing to Nepal.

Khan was also a co-conspirator in the UP courts blasts matter where "he was enraged after some lawyers thrashed three terrorists of the Jaish-E-Mohammad".
