Russia's political disinformation group had about 80 tech employees, indictment says

A senior Obama administration official has been quoted as saying the administration "choked" when dealing with Russian Federation.

In this file photo taken on November 11, 2017 US President Donald Trump (R) and Russia's President Vladimir Putin talk as they make their way to take the "family photo" during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders' summit in Danang, Vietnam.

President Donald Trump attacked the Federal Bureau of Investigation and lawmakers probing suspected Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S presidential election, drawing sharp criticism for saying an excessive focus on Russia led investigators to miss signs that could have prevented a deadly school shooting in Florida.

"The majority of the Russian ad spend happened after the election. So why didn't he do something about Russian meddling?"

The determination to ignore Trump's foreign-policy tweets has been bipartisan.

On Twitter, Trump cited parts of the indictment that said the Russian-based Internet Research Agency started work in 2014 - which he noted was long before he announced his run for the presidency in June 2015.

Russia's government on Monday insisted there was no evidence that it meddled in the United States elections, after Washington indicted 13 Russians for alleged covert efforts to sway voters.

It was not the first time that Trump has appeared at odds with his own senior national security staff, which has largely taken a hawkish position toward Russian Federation amid a plunge in relations between the former Cold War foes.

Stone said Facebook was also able to detect and remove "tens of thousands" of fake Facebook pages in advance of French, German and British elections past year using improved machine learning techniques.

In several tweets, including one today, Mr. Trump blamed former President Obama for not doing enough about Russia's meddling.

PM consulted wife on sex ban
The Liberal-National coalition has existed since 1923, with the National leader usually taking on the deputy prime ministership. Ministers must not have sexual relations with staff regardless of whether they were married or single, he said.

In talking about the Obama administration, Schiff told NBC's Andrea Mitchell that "The American people had a right to know what was going on and could be trusted to do the right thing with it". It was a known fact that Putin hated Hillary Clinton.

As the nation mourned, President Donald Trump kept largely silent about the Florida school shooting victims and the escalating gun control debate, instead raging at the FBI for what he perceived to be a fixation on the Russian Federation investigation at the cost of failing to deter the attack.

The Russians used social media profiles to support both liberal and conservative issues. Obama also never moved to provide Ukraine with weapons during the Russian-backed insurgency in the country. "We are quite divided as a nation", Goldman tweeted.

In response to the election meddling, Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats from the U.S. and issued new sanctions against Russia during his last month in office.

But Mueller has not so far announced any findings that prove that the campaign colluded with Russian Federation nor alleged that the President is compromised in any way or indicated whether Trump has anything to fear from the special counsel's investigation.

Trump quickly contradicted McMaster, raising new doubts about the level of confidence that the President retains in his national security adviser and undercutting his message that Americans were united against Russian Federation.

On Friday, Facebook's VP of ads Rob Goldman tweeted about key facts of the Russian interference campaign in the U.S. presidential election that "were not well understood".

Trump was last seen publicly Friday night when he visited the Florida community reeling from a school shooting that left 17 dead and gave rise to a student-led push for more gun control.

According to the special counsel, the indictment charges the defendants with conspiracy to defraud the United States, three defendants with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft.
