If you are wondering about performance the 520hp, 346 lb-ft flat-six is able to push the GT3 RS from naught to 60 miles per hour in 3.0 seconds, which is a scant 0.1 seconds faster than the previous version.

Among the chassis changes Porsche Motorsport has announced for the 911 GT3 RS ahead of Australian deliveries for the new vehicle during the third quarter of 2018 is a recalibrated rear wheel steering system.

Porsche's GT3 is one of the last truly purist supercars on the market, but many fear that it will eventually forsake its high-revving normally aspirated engine configuration in favour of the modern turbocharged route. As Donut Media explains in the above video, the Porsche 911 was introduced in 1963 as a replacement for the the long-in-the-tooth Porsche 356 - the vehicle Porsche developed right after WWII. In the United States, the 911 GT3 RS will arrive in fall and cost $187,500 excluding a $1,050 delivery, processing and handling fee. It will be launched in Germany from mid-April 2018.

Market launch is set for mid-April 2018 with a price starting from 195,137 euros, including Value-Added Tax.
