Mike Gesicki is a freak, dominates tight ends at NFL Scouting Combine

Most projections coming out of Indy should have Gesicki in the 50-75 overall draft range.

For the football die-hard, watching the NFL Combine is the closest thing fans can get to satiate their appetite for the sport. "I'm so eager to learn about the game, learn my craft, get into a system, learn from a savvy vet, pick up the small details to improve my game". However, his performance at the combine has only helped his standing in the draft class. The primary group of running backs, offensive linemen and special teams players all took to the field to run through a litany of tests and drills. "Now, that's as good as we've seen these last couple years". Cleveland now has Barkley "firmly in the mix" at #1. He crushed his workout and is the clear No. 1 running back prospect. That was second fastest among the running backs. Having him call plays for Eli Manning on offense with Odell and Saquon as weapons could be a lot of fun to watch in the Meadowlands next season.

More bench presses (29) than future Hall of Fame offensive tackle Joe Thomas (28). Saquon then put his speed on display by running a blistering 4.40 secs in the 40-yard dash, per NFL.com.

"If you don't draft me", he warned, "I'm going to give your defense hell". That is a 233-pound athletic freak. "It's more of, from my perspective, an 80/20 ball".

Del Potro maintains mastery over Thiem with Acapulco win
Switzerland's Stefanie Vogele, ranked 183rd in the world, stunned reigning US Open champion Stephens 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. It was Del Potro's first title since the Stockholm Open previous year and his 21st career singles title.

After his combine performance, he can all but kiss any chance of being in the top 10 goodbye.

After the Packers went 13 consecutive years without drafting a Badger, they've now done so twice in the last four drafts, selecting receiver Jared Abbrederis in 2014 and linebacker Vince Biegel last year. A pectoral injury during the bench press yesterday caused him to miss today's events altogether. We are talking about a player that weighs 345 pounds and whose job it will be to protect the blind-side of a team's franchise quarterback.

He lumbered through the 40-yard dash in 5.85 seconds. And, indeed, Indianapolis may actually look to trade back to acquire a more established playmaker (although rumors of the Colts acquiring wide receiver Jarvis Landry have quieted significantly). Although that time is not pedestrian by any means, it just isn't the kind of explosive figure that catches the attention of coaches and scouts, particularly when Lasley's position workout was loaded with bobbles, drops and double catches.
