A family of four, who had been reported missing, has been found dead in mysterious circumstances at a luxury resort in Mexico.

"The Sharps have been located".

As CrimeOnline previously reported, relatives told a local newspaper that they had not heard from the family since last Thursday. According to Creston PD Chief Paul Ver Meer, there were no signs of trauma or foul play. According to a Facebook post from a family member, the Sharps were expected to arrive in St. Louis from Cancun on Wednesday so that they could catch a connecting flight back home in time to attend a basketball game in Danville, Illinois.

Now the Franklins say the only thing they can do is be there for the Sharps' family and remember their friends. "We'll work through this together".

According to ABC Des Moines affiliate WOI, the family left for Mexico on March 15 and were expected back in the USA on Wednesday.
