Earlier in the day, the first lady spoke at the presentation of the International Women of Courage Award at the State Department. The Trumps headed to their estate home in Palm Beach, Fla., but arrived separately at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland for the Friday afternoon flight on Air Force One, although the president's public schedule had them leaving the White House together. President Trump is expected to stay there for the weekend, but Melania is planning on staying longer, since Barron Trump's spring break vacation is the following week.

'No one was paying attention to her two years ago, ' a source says. Following reports that she also carried on an affair with Trump, former Playboy model Karen McDougal filed a lawsuit this week against the publisher of the National Enquirer tabloid seeking freedom to discuss the alleged affair.
