Unusually Cold, Windy and Snowy Stretch into Easter

Today: Mostly cloudy. Wind: NE/S 5-10.

Temperatures on Wednesday will jump into the mid 70s with more sunshine.

The overnight clouds should break up once again on Thursday, but it will not be as warm. Those clouds will move in along a cold front that also brings us a 40% chance of spotty showers after 6pm lasting into the overnight hours.

Sunday's weather could a mixed bag - a chance of rain and snow, with partly sunny skies and a high in the low 40s.

First Alert Weather Days have been declared from Tuesday afternoon through midday on Thursday. FLOOD ADVISORIES, WATCHES, and WARNINGS continue for low lying areas in Choteau Country, but also out along the Missouri and Musselshell Rivers because of snowmelt and ice jams.

Friday looks to be dry for many places on the North Island, with just a few showers expected for parts of the central and upper North Island. The morning will be dry, with increasing clouds and the chance for rain/snow showers in the afternoon. Clouds and a lingering shower or two early Friday should give way to a mix of clouds and sun by afternoon.

Tuesday will begin the same way Monday did, with mostly clear skies, light winds, and cold temperatures from 25 to 35 degrees. Highs will be in the low 50s around lunchtime in the Denver area, with temperatures dropping into the low 40s by late afternoon.

FRIDAY: High pressure returns for Good Friday and that means a good day of weather!

Sunday's high is expected to be near 43 degrees.

Temperatures in early April are normally between the low 50s and upper 20s.

Easter: High: 48 Low: 32 Becoming partly cloudy, breezy, colder.
