The announcement follows the commercial success of Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, which released previous year on PlayStation 4, and is coming to PC, Switch, and Xbox One on July 10.

Activision has announced that Spyro Ignited Trilogy is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Fall, confirming earlier leaks from Amazon Mexico and Kotaku.

Activision said the trilogy would also include "updated controls" and "smooth camera handling", but did not elaborate on what exactly that meant.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will launch on September 21 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 on September 21st, 2018 with other platforms rumoured to be receiving the game including the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. It won't be different from what you watched above, but it's a cool way to watch the trailer while giving gamers a throwback to appreciate.

With the success of remastered video game compilations such as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, more and more classics are being brought back to life and released on the latest gaming consoles. The first screenshots and footage look like we're getting a major graphical overhaul, though the developer - Toys For Bob, says that it plans to keep the game's mechanics as close to the original as possible.
