Canada's Maude Charron clinched the gold medal in the women's weightlifting 63kg final after lifting a Games record 122kg in her final attempt in clean and jerk to record a total of 220kg. In the men's 4,000 meter Individual Pursuit, Manjeet Singh also failed to qualify forward after posting 4:39.744 to finish 24th out of 27 competitors.
