Putin: Russia's won't allow denying the feat of Soviet people who saved world from fascism

Russia's house of parliament has overwhelmingly approved Dmitry Medvedev for a new term as prime minister.

As ties between Washington and Moscow soured badly early in Putin's previous presidential term, Russian authorities criticized USA officials including President Barack Obama for speaking of American "exceptionalism", echoing a long-standing Russian accusation that the United States is set on dominating the world.

The United Russia and the Liberal Democrats mentioned that they backed Medvedev.

Putin praised Medvedev in a speech ahead of the vote.

A military parade commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was held in the Russian capital on Wednesday.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors 5/8/18, Prediction & Odds
The New Orleans Pelicans had moved within one victory of tying the series, and Green realized that the team had to play better. Winning was important for the Warriors, but more vital to their long-term outlook in these playoffs is how they won Game 4 .

"All that has been accomplished in recent years creates a solid basis for moving forward", Putin said.

Medvedev, 53, was nominated by Vladimir Putin to again serve as his PM, thus continuing with the tandem that has ruled Russian Federation for the past decade, although the office of the presidency is by far the most powerful of the two.

Putin, 65, is now set to serve until 2024 and is on course to become the longest-serving Russian leader since Joseph Stalin.

"My parents found a photograph of my late grandfather who was killed by the Ustashas, so I will walk beside President Putin to show that we want to preserve the memory of those killed by fascism in those hard times, and with the desire that those times never repeat", Vucic stressed. He won March polls with more than 76 percent of the vote.
