The report goes on to say that Google won't be adopting a dual rear camera setup on either one of the Pixel smartphones this year. Bloomberg's report says this team is "heavily involved" in the development of this phone.

Finally, Bloomberg says that the manufacturer of both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL won't be either LG, nor HTC who Google invested in quite heavily a year ago, instead it will be Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., more commonly known as Foxconn.

However, the cut outs for the speakers and cameras are much larger than what current Pixel phones offer, suggesting there could be a power boost for both the cameras and the speakers.

Google isn't expected to unveil its new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL flagship phones until the late summer or early fall. Google and HTC already worked on several Nexus and Pixel devices so we won't be surprised if the tech giant will already settle with HTC producing its phones. It's said that the Pixel 3 will have a design similar to the Pixel 2, meaning no edge-to-edge display.

She said this is the "beginning of a longer process needed to meaningfully improve safety". They are getting rid of that policy for customers and employees alike.

As it has done the past two years, Google plans to roll out the new phones in October, about a month after Apple typically announces its new devices.

If you were still thinking the renders and screen protector shots we've seen hit the web don't truly encapsulate what the upcoming Pixels could look like, it is specifically mentioned many times in this report that these OLED panels will feature a top notch. The yet-to-be launched Pixel smartphones are said to come with edge-to-edge display and with the new smartphones the company is planning to take on the next generation of iPhones.

That notch, as we've seen on other handsets like the iPhone X, OnePlus 6, and LG G7 ThinQ, will be used to accommodate the front-facing sensors and such that, for the moment, there's no other place for in a "bezelless" design. Last year LG made the Pixel 2 XL while HTC manufactured the Pixel 2.

Android P is also expected to sport deeper integration with Google Assistant, and it could also support devices with multiple form factors. Instead, it will be working with Foxconn's FIH Mobile for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
