Accusations fly as Ferrari take out Hamilton

Vettel triumphant in the battle of Silverstone

2016 Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg has dismissed the idea that Kimi Raikkonen deliberately hit Lewis Hamilton on the opening lap of the British Grand Prix.

At the French Grand Prix, Vettel ran into Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas at the start of the race, an incident which forced him to retire.

Interesting tactics I would say from their side but we will do what we can to fight them in the next.

"Incompetent, who Kimi? Who is he to judge what a driver is doing in the auto, I can accept it from Jacques (Villeneuve) because he's been a driver, but that person? No".

"First of all it was wrong when they gave Vettel five seconds", Lauda told Sky Sports F1.

Hamilton, from his record 76th pole, appeared bogged down as he responded and was instantly in a scrap for third with Raikkonen, who collided with the Briton under braking into Turn Three.

Vettel crossed the line an ecstatic man, recording Ferrari's first win at the Mercedes-dominated circuit since 2011 and Vettel's first victory in England since 2009.

"James and I have a lot of conversations, and when Lewis couldn't get himself out of the negative spiral we agreed it was the right thing to do".

Sara Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister's Wife, Is Charged With Fraud
Israeli police recommended in February that Benjamin Netanyahu face charges for accepting US$300,000 ($436,000) worth of bribes. Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit first brought the case against Sara Netanyahu to court in September.

"Obviously we're in a tough battle this year and it's the most intense battle that I think we've probably all had but I'm very, very grateful that the auto was still in one piece after the first turn three incident". Unfortunate because Le Castellet first time we got taken out and now it is the second time we got taken out.

Vettel opted to pit for Soft tyres while Bottas stayed out on Mediums to pick up the lead of the race.

"I think we need to improve our vehicle until the end of the year, that will be key because then you have something to fight, and if you have something to fight and something to play with, you can make things happen".

Vettel snatched the advantage from Lewis Hamilton at the start of the race and kept a buffer over Bottas until the Safety Car was deployed following a crash for Marcus Ericsson. "I would be surprised if there was anything else or if Kimi is that kind of driver".

"He spun and it was my bad, but that is how it goes sometimes", said Raikkonen. But it is what it is and we just need to learn, understand and just try to get in control of the tyres in the best possible way.

"Not the greatest start" admitted Raikkonnen. "And in a ideal world, I would have had new tires - but it wasn't that kind of day for me", Hamilton said. Hamilton, forced in to a spin, continued last on track, while Raikkonen was later deemed responsible by the stewards and given a ten-second penalty.

Allison, who quit Ferrari to join Mercedes, was brought into the post-race row by Merc chief Toto Wolff.

Her cryptic comments are bound to anger Mercedes and Hamilton even though the Brit said he had accepted Raikkonen's full apology for wrecking his race.
