The Jets are trading the quarterback and a sixth-round draft pick to the Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, citing an unidentified source.

Bridgewater signed a 1-year deal with the Jets after working his way back from a devastating knee injury in Minnesota.

Bridgewater will obviously be in line behind Drew Brees, who is 39 but has missed only two starts in 12 seasons and remains among the most prolific quarterbacks in the NFL.

But he will be doing it in a New Orleans Saints jersey.

Hazard ‘won’t go’ this year; Chelsea title threat?
Morata's fourth goal in 2018 was another positive for Chelsea , but Sarri believes there is more to come from the Spain global . And Hazard said: "Everybody knows what I said after the World Cup".

NY signed Bridgewater to a one-year, $6 million contract in March. "He's a successful quarterback and we know he will be a great addition to our quarterback room".

That meant Bridgewater had a lukewarm market when he hit free agency and he settled on signing for the Jets, where he looked set to compete with Josh McCown to start. NY also brought back veteran QB Josh McCown, who completed 67.3% of his passes for 2,926 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games last season.

"Right now, I'm living in the now, taking advantage of this opportunity that I have right now", Bridgewater said Sunday when asked about trade chatter. While Bridgewater was healthy enough to be on the Vikings roster previous year, the consistent play of Case Keenum kept the former first round pick on the sidelines. He has not been intercepted, but also has not thrown a touchdown pass, and the Saints offense has moved the ball inconsistently with Savage under center. He also has rushed 16 times for 130 yards and two TDs.
