According to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, British actor Henry Cavill will part ways with Warner Bros and will not be returning as DC favorite, Superman. He followed up the portrayal in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).

Though the reports have not been confirmed, Warner Bros. released a statement addressing the news that was nearly as cryptic as Cavill's response.

A statement from Warner Bros. tried to play down any final decisions made about Cavill's future as the superhero.

Warner Bros. are eager to "reset" the under-performing franchise, according to the source. Sources said to The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Brothers are turning its attention to a Supergirl movie, rather than a Superman film.

While Henry's future as Superman remains uncertain, it has been confirmed that he's joining a whole new cult franchise, taking on the lead role in Netflix's upcoming adaptation of "The Witcher".

But his departure doesn't mean that Warner Bros.is shelving the character, as Clark Kent could potentially appear in the studio's developing Supergirl movie or in his own solo film down the line.

United States and Mexico reach a preliminary trade deal
President Donald Trump hailed the agreement as "an incredible deal for the workers and for the citizens of both countries". Another is Congress, with key figures saying Monday that Canada - the top buyer of US exports - should be included.

"I don't know if it's the exact one I'd make a movie out of but I'd definitely take tones from it".

Superman fans began posting all over social media after the first reports hit, decrying Warner Bros. for putting the Man of Steel back on the shelf.

While talking about the movie in his story update, Gonzalez also leaked some details regarding the Man of Steel's cameo scene in Shazam!

Personally, I think Cavill was absolutely flawless in the role of Superman.

Shazam! sees a release on April 5th, 2019 - long after Jason Momoa's standalone Aquaman movie dives beneath the waves and introduces viewers to the weird and wonderful world of Atlantis.

Justice League ended its theatrical run with a worldwide box office total of $657.9 million, meaning it stands as the lowest grossing film of the DC Extended Universe. The studio is in a similar situation with Batman, as Affleck is not expected to reprise the role in Matt Reeves' upcoming "The Batman".
