CW Just released the first official look at Ruby Rose's Batwoman in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover.

The costume, seen here, was designed by Oscar winning designer Colleen Atwood, and is pretty much ripped from the page. The Australian actress will make her debut as Batwoman in the The CW's highly-anticipated Arrowverse, which will kick off December 9.

The annual Arrow-verse crossover will begin production Tuesday in Vancouver, B.C., according to Entertainment Tonight.

Flake calls for civility, open minds at hearing for Kavanaugh, Ford
Kavanaugh , who has denied all allegations , also faces sexual misconduct accusations from two other women. When asked if she had advice for Ford, Hill said it is "unfair" to give advice to people she has never met.

After her casting was announced, Rose quit Twitter and deactivated the comments on her Instagram due to the online backlash she received for her casting. The character is described as a hero with a flair for social justice who isn't afraid to speak her mind. In addition to Rose's Batwoman, the crossover will also feature the return of Tyler Hoechlin's Superman as well as introducing Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries. Once established, Batwoman will receive her own standalone series overseen by Greg Berlanti, and scripted by Caroline Dries. "Critics also accused Rose of not being a lesbian since she also refers to herself as gender-fluid". "I came out at 12?" she tweeted before her exit.

"Elseworlds" begins Sunday, Dec. 9, with The Flash at 8 p.m.; continues Monday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. with Arrow; and concludes the following night at 8 p.m. with Supergirl.

The Kate Kane iteration of the character, which Rose will play, is a lesbian who professes the Jewish faith and is, in the comic books at least, romantically involved with Gotham City detective Renee Montoya.
