Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has said his team are facing problems at both ends of the pitch despite their 2-1 win over Everton.

Jose Mourinho has offered his support to misfiring striker Romelu Lukaku as the Belgium worldwide prepares to face his former club Everton.

"When you are talking about Lukaku, when a striker doesn't score in the last games it is normal to criticise him, it happened the same with some of our strikers before". It was hard for us. "They scored a fantastic goal but we had a good chance to score at 2-1".

Marco Silva's side were two places and one point above United ahead of the game, sitting in eighth place with 15 points from nine Premier League matches.

We have no idea what he was thinking giving away a needless penalty away.

Pogba caused a stir once again with a lengthy over-the-top run up, but was left relieved when Jordan Pickford's superb save fell back to him to tuck in the rebound.

Lineker wrote on Twitter during the game: "Terrific finish from Martial". But I think Lukaku and the Man United team have the quality to do good things.

Cruz claimed that O'Rourke is the only Senate Democratic candidate this cycle who has explicitly supported Trump's impeachment. He also repeatedly cast O'Rourke as a key agitator if Democrats take Congress for the next two years under Trump.

Pogba approached the penalty with his now customary Fred Flintstone impression, taking what seemed like a thousand steps before hitting the ball to the annoyance of, not only Grameme Souness On Sky Sport's punditry panel, but also among contingents of United's fans who just wanted him to get on with it.

Manchester United entered the game against Everton under pressure to win after they were outclassed at Old Trafford on Tuesday night by Juventus.

Three minutes into the second half, United doubled their lead as Martial curled a sumptious shot into the far corner on a pass from Pogba that gave Pickford no chance. Sigurdsson and Richarlison combine to send Bernard free.

Bernard's poor afternoon was capped off when, having gone past De Gea, the Brazilian subsequently put the ball into the side-netting when an open goal beckoned.

Between the ball being placed on the spot and Pickford's save, 24-seconds elapsed. The Toffees eventually found the net after a silly chip from Paul Pogba handed Everton a run on goal, Chris Smalling couldn't stay on his feet and brought down Richarlison in the area.

A great Everton move down the right ended with a Seamus Coleman cross that picked out Sigurdsson but his header was straight down De Gea's throat while Theo Walcott was denied by the Spaniard at the end of the first half.

Everton won a penalty on 76 minutes after Pogba lost possession and Sigurdsson played in Richarlison who was felled by Smalling.
